The AP&S Family Medicine Department is comprised of 14 physicians and one nurse practitioner who provide medical care to a wide variety of patients. As defined by the American Academy of Family Physicians, family medicine is the medical specialty which provides continuing, comprehensive healthcare for the individual and family. Family medicine physicians offer services to all ages, both sexes, each organ system and every disease entity.

To help meet the needs of our patients, we offer Family Medicine services at three convenient locations; Downtown Family Medicine, Northside Family Medicine and Southside Family Medicine.

And, AP&S Clinic's Open Access scheduling makes it easier than ever to get a same-day appointment at all AP&S Family Medicine locations. Patients are now able to call our family medicine locations, Downtown, Northside and Southside, and be seen the same day they call if they are ill. Every effort will be made to schedule the patient to see his/her primary care physician. However, if the physician's schedule is full, another physician at the same location will see the patient. New patients are also encouraged to call and schedule appointments using the Open Access scheduling system.
