Urologists are physicians who specialize in the urinary health of men, women and children.  The AP&S Clinic has three board certified urologists that provide holistic, compassionate and professional care.  The urologist will perform a thorough examination on the initial consultation.  During this visit and subsequent visits, a urinalysis will be done to assess for inflammatory cells (suggesting an infection), blood in the urine (hematuria), and/or the presence of sugar or protein.  After the physical exam, the urologist may order additional diagnostic tests such as an ultrasound or CT scan which will help to individualize the plan of care.   

The urologists use medical and surgical approaches to the treatment of many diseases, including prostate disorders both benign and malignant, incontinence, kidney stones, erectile dysfunction, male reproductive problems and cancer of the urinary tract, bladder and kidney.

AP&S Clinic urologists perform minimally invasive procedures that are better tolerated by the patient, require a shorter hospital stay, reduce post-operative pain, and allow the patient to return to work and activities of daily living sooner.
